Louisiana Middle School Association (LMSA) is soliciting articles
from middle level educators, graduate and undergraduate students and
administrators across Louisiana, the United States and other
countries for the Newsletter on topics that will increase readers’
knowledge of the individual aspects of young adolescents’
development, teaching methodologies in the content areas and various
topics that enhance Middle Level Education, such as:
middle level students’ unique developmental characteristics
- middle level curriculum,
instruction, and assessment
- student-teacher relationships
- programs that emphasized in
performance based assessment
- effective teaching strategies
that to create developmentally and culturally responsiveness
- research finding on teaching
and teacher education
- effective technology
integration strategies
- teaching tips
- program redesigns
The editor seeks articles that vary
in length from 300 words to 600 words. Interested writers should
submit their manuscripts for consideration to the editor by email at
ajdaniel@bellsouth.net.
Please include a cover letter with your manuscript with an
explanation of its relationship to middle level education and
contact information.
Manuscripts are reviewed continuously for the fall and spring issues
of the newsletter. All manuscripts should be prepared according to
the style specified in the 5th edition of the Publication Manual of
American Psychological Association see
